These include, but are not limited to, the development, implementation and oversight of medical conferences, scientific programs, publication of special articles, the creation of project descriptions, educational materials, funding proposals and budgets. Facilitate the planning and execution of scientific workshops, working groups and conferences. Works closely with key volunteers, strategic partners and all internal stakeholders to define the scope of work, project goals, and agendas. Outlines project tasks, detailed development plans and timelines. Manage project faculty recruitment and participant invitations. Responsible for creation of supporting meeting materials, and publication of conference output. Assists in the identification of the venues and coordination of the onsite meeting logistics.

WORKING CONDITIONS, EQUIPMENT USED AND SPECIAL INFORMATION Must be able to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously. Verbal and written communication skills will be used daily. Must possess a high degree of professionalism, tact, discretion, decision making, and patience. Maintain effectiveness even under pressure. Uses a multiple line telephone, personal computer, fax machine and photocopier. Must be flexible for overtime and business travel as required. (Estimate: 6 trips per year).
