Successful candidates for these positions will join current faculty members with diverse professional backgrounds and work collaboratively in a systems-oriented, entry level curriculum. The DPT program enjoys dedicated multipurpose lab classrooms and a multidisciplinary simulation suite in the state-of-the-art John F. Scarpa Health Sciences Center. Stockton's School of Health Sciences offers many graduate and undergraduate degrees in the health-related professions. Descriptions of Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Offer courses in Physical Therapy and the General Studies curriculum Serve as preceptor to students Participate in scholarship and/or creative activities as appropriate to the discipline Provide service to the University, community and the profession Perform other duties as designated by the Dean and/or the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Support Stockton University's commitment and strong student-centered vision and mission Required Qualifications: Doctoral degree in physical therapy or health-related field Candidates must be a NJ licensed Physical Therapist or be eligible for physical therapy license in NJ Minimum of 3 years experience as a Physical therapist Preferred Qualifications: Earned academic doctorate (Ph.D, Ed.D, or equivalent) in physical therapy or a health-related field Prior teaching experience is strongly preferred Contemporary expertise in Musculoskeletal content Expertise in additional areas of practice will be considered: kinesiology, neuromuscular PT, prosthetics / orthotics A track record of scholarly productivity or demonstrated potential for success in peer-reviewed publications Demonstrated experience working collaboratively as a member of a team with students, faculty, staff, administrators and/or colleagues Demonstrated ability/experience setting, communicating, and completing established priorities Screening Information: Screening of applications begins immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
